As Stephen King said: "If you want to be a writer you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot."

  • Try not to edit while you're making a draft.
  • Write daily!
  • You can use "thesaurus", an extra feature in word and OpenOffice, which helps you to find synonyms.
  • Read the text aloud after editing.
  • Don't write other words tha "say" in a dialogue - they're just distracting.
  • Make paragraphs, otherwise the reader will skip some parts.
  • Avoid long sentences.
  • If you want to write a novel: Attend "National Novel Writing Month" ( )
  • Never give up
  • Write your ideas down somewhere
